Taipei 101 is currently the tallest building in the world, measuring 508 metres (ground to structural top) over 101 floors (hence the name). The skyscraper's shape is like a square bamboo with four sides. Taipei 101 can withstand earthquakes (no damage was caused by a 6.8 earthquake in 2002).
